Data must protect.

Reports should inform action without exposing survivors.

Turning community risk signals into prevention knowledge.

ASMI-Cameroun’s reports and insights are designed to help communities, institutions, NGOs, embassies, donors and protection actors understand emerging migration risks and respond with better prevention strategies.

Current status

Public reports are currently being developed. ASMI-Cameroun will publish selected reports only when the information has been reviewed, anonymized and made safe for public communication.

No survivor identity should be exposed for visibility.

ASMI-Cameroun does not publish names, passport details, private addresses, sensitive locations, case files or personal survivor information in public reports. Reports focus on patterns, trends and prevention lessons.

Field-to-report logic

Reports begin with community signals, then move through review, anonymization and responsible analysis.

From field signals to responsible public insight.

ASMI-Cameroun’s reporting approach combines structured surveys, community feedback, safe migration awareness observations, scam typology analysis and Data Sentinel dashboards.

The objective is to produce useful prevention intelligence without exposing individuals, survivors, families or active cases.

01 Collect ethically

Gather only relevant prevention signals from surveys, awareness activities and community feedback.

02 Anonymize and review

Remove identifying, sensitive or unsafe information before analysis and public communication.

03 Analyze patterns

Identify recurring risks, recruitment methods, payment pressure, unsafe destinations and awareness gaps.

The kind of risk information ASMI-Cameroun analyzes.

Our reporting model focuses on prevention indicators that can help identify risk patterns without exposing vulnerable people.

Suspicious recruitment channels

Channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, informal agencies, unknown recruiters or peer referrals.

Payment pressure

Upfront fees, urgent visa payments, processing charges, ticket deposits or suspicious mobile money requests.

Destination risk patterns

Locations, sectors or routes repeatedly linked to unsafe offers, document control or exploitation risk.

Awareness gaps

Community knowledge gaps around contracts, employer verification, fake recruiters and safe reporting.

Reports will be supported by dashboard-ready indicators.

ASMI-Cameroun’s Data Sentinel model is designed to convert KoboToolbox and field data into visual risk summaries, dashboards, trend analysis and prevention recommendations for partners.
