Control of documents
Passport or identity papers are taken and access is restricted.
Human Trafficking Prevention
Trafficking means deception, pressure and taking advantage of someone’s situation, across borders or inside a country. The earlier people recognise the signs, the safer the response can be.
What exploitation can look like
Someone can be recruited with a job offer and later face confiscated papers, threats, forced work, debt or confinement.

Warning indicators
Passport or identity papers are taken and access is restricted.
Their movement, calls or contact with family are watched or blocked.
They are threatened, or pushed to comply through violence or made-up debts and penalties.
The real work, place or conditions are very different from what was promised.
Survivor-centred protection
We don’t publish identifiable survivor stories to prove our impact. Support starts with safe referral, informed consent, legal or psychosocial orientation and realistic paths back to a livelihood.
Don’t confront traffickers yourself; it can put the person at greater risk. Keep only what you can safely collect and go to the proper protection or law-enforcement channels.
