Our programme: Safe Choices, Safe Return

Our Digital Safe Route community pilot has grown into a 12-month programme that trains community ambassadors, supports returned survivors of trafficking, and lets survivors who choose it become ambassadors. It is a proposal seeking 11,520,000 FCFA (US$20,000); no donor has committed yet. Community fundraising to launch it in Littoral, starting in Moungo, remains open, with a target of 2,880,000 FCFA (about US$5,000).

Safeguarding and Data Protection Policy approved

The Executive Bureau approved Version 1.0 under Decision DEC-017/ASMI-CM/BE/2026. It covers safeguarding, child protection, survivor confidentiality, consent, data security and how concerns are reported. Mancho Tebo Salif is designated as Data Protection Officer.

At the General Assembly, members went over responsibilities, monthly contributions, learning and participation, and prepared our first community outreach. Attendance and action points were recorded.
