Our Story
Turning lived experience into public protection.
ASMI-Cameroun was created in response to the growing risks faced by young people, job seekers, families, migrants, returnees and diaspora communities exposed to deceptive recruitment networks, fake international job offers, cyber-employment scams and unsafe migration routes.
The initiative is survivor-informed and survivor-sensitive. It does not expose identities or transform personal trauma into public spectacle. Instead, ASMI-Cameroun converts lived experience, field observations and community risk signals into prevention tools, reintegration support and evidence-based advocacy.
Our belief is simple: when people receive verified information before paying money, sharing documents or travelling, they are better protected against manipulation, exploitation and trafficking.
Founder / President
Fabrice Achu Ngando
ASMI-Cameroun was founded by Fabrice Achu Ngando, a professional with experience in human resources, training and development, organizational learning and data analytics.
His vision is to build a scalable prevention and reintegration organization that combines community education, survivor-sensitive thinking and digital tools such as KoboToolbox, Power BI, Python and analytical reporting to identify risks before exploitation occurs.
ASMI-Cameroun’s public communication prioritizes dignity, informed consent, confidentiality and prevention. Sensitive survivor information is never published online.
Executive Bureau

The Executive Bureau supports strategic leadership, administration, data protection, financial accountability, programme implementation, survivor reintegration and community mobilization.
