The Digital Safe Route Pilot combines community awareness, opportunity verification, Digital Ambassadors and Data Sentinel tools to help young people and families identify migration risks before exploitation begins.
Verified information can interrupt trafficking and cyber-employment scams before money, documents or travel are involved.
Project Overview
ASMI-Cameroun is building a community-based model that brings safe migration education, fake-job verification guidance and anti-trafficking awareness directly to young people, families and local communities.
Scalability
The pilot’s awareness resources, volunteer model, anonymous risk signals and reporting tools are designed for responsible replication across Cameroon.
Project Objectives
Help people verify employment and migration opportunities before paying money, sharing documents or travelling.
Deliver bilingual education on fake job offers, cyber-employment scams, trafficking indicators and safe migration checks.
Equip community mobilizers and volunteers with practical prevention and responsible referral guidance.
Use ethical KoboToolbox data collection and Data Sentinel analysis without exposing survivor identities.

The campaign remains open. Contributions support community awareness, prevention materials, volunteer preparation, printing, coordination and responsible reporting.

What Contributions Support
Local sensitization activities for young people, families and community groups.
Bilingual flyers, posters, verification guidance and safe migration materials.

Ethical data collection, risk analysis, monitoring and evidence-based reporting.
Campaign Transparency
Confirmed contributions are entered in ASMI-Cameroun’s fundraising register and tracked against the campaign target. Official receipts may be issued for confirmed financial contributions.
Survivor Safety
Survivor identities, passports, private locations and sensitive case details are not used to attract contributions.
Support the Pilot
Support may be financial, material, technical or institutional. Use only ASMI-Cameroun’s official channels.
